Terms of Use
1. Private use
Actualbudget is a private application operated solely for its owner. It is not a public or commercial financial service and no third party is authorized to use it.
2. Function
The application retrieves read-only account information through Enable Banking and imports it into a self-hosted Actual Budget instance for budgeting and reconciliation. It does not initiate payments, transfer funds, provide credit, execute investments or offer financial advice.
3. Authorization
Only accounts owned or lawfully controlled by the application owner may be connected. Access must be authorized through the bank’s own authentication flow. Bank credentials are not requested or stored by this website.
4. Availability and accuracy
Synchronization may be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable because of bank APIs, authorization expiry, rate limits or maintenance. Bank statements and the bank’s own records remain authoritative. Imported information must be reconciled before it is relied upon.
5. Security
The owner is responsible for protecting devices, private keys and access to the self-hosted Actual Budget instance. Any suspected compromise should result in revocation of bank authorization and rotation of the application credentials.
6. Changes and termination
The application may be changed or discontinued at any time. Authorization can be revoked through the relevant bank or Enable Banking. These terms may be updated when the application’s scope or data handling changes.
