Privacy Policy
1. Purpose and scope
Actualbudget is a private, non-public application used solely by its owner to synchronize information from the owner’s own bank accounts with a self-hosted Actual Budget instance. It is not offered as a service to other people.
2. Data processed
When the owner authorizes access through Enable Banking, the application may process account identifiers, balances, transaction dates, amounts, currencies, payment descriptions and counterparty information made available by the selected bank.
3. Access and use
Bank access is limited to account-information services and is used only to import and reconcile the owner’s finances. The application does not initiate payments, transfers or investment orders. Data is not sold, used for advertising or shared with unrelated third parties.
4. Storage and security
Financial data is stored in the owner’s private, self-hosted Actual Budget environment. Access is restricted by authentication and private-network controls. Credentials and authorization keys are stored separately from public website content.
5. Service providers
Enable Banking provides regulated access to bank-account information. Cloudflare hosts these static legal pages and may process basic technical connection data, such as IP address and request metadata, according to its own policies. These pages contain no advertising, analytics scripts or non-essential cookies.
6. Retention and withdrawal
Imported financial records are retained for personal budgeting, reconciliation and accounting purposes until the owner deletes them. Bank authorization may be withdrawn through the relevant bank or Enable Banking. Withdrawal stops future synchronization but does not automatically remove records already imported into Actual Budget.
